Acoustic design for a children’s classroom with omnipresent echo.

Children’s home in Nivelles
We were contacted by schoolteachers who were tired of the acoustic problems in this room with its large bay windows and tiled floor. Our mission was to analyze the problem, select the areas for intervention and identify the people who live in the premises.
We therefore proposed colored cubes that seemed to float above the ceiling to respect the children’s world. The quantity of cubes was not randomly chosen and was the subject of a study. The result is clear: the teachers are more than satisfied!
This gallery captures the essence of the project: carefully designed atmospheres and furniture selected to harmonise with the surroundings.
We are delighted to have worked with WOOH on the delivery of our new furniture as part of the D’Ieteren Park development project. Their responsiveness and constant willingness to meet our expectations made this experience a real success. A trusted, attentive and efficient partner!
