Renovation and space planning for Renewi.

Under the supervision of the architectural firm “Out Of Office” (“OOO”), our mission for this project was to select the furniture in line with the desired ambience, before proceeding with delivery and placement.
The rooms concerned were cafeteria areas, conference rooms, offices, informal meeting spaces andreception areas.

Then comes the renovation phase

The project involved refurbishment and installation of flooring, creation and placement of screens, new lighting and paintwork. For the flooring, we chose a parquet-effect Gerflor to warm up the space. We mixed it with a patterned carpet in the company’s colors to mark the meeting zone and bring a notion of acoustics to this area. In this project, claustras are used to delimit the meeting and lunch areas without totally closing off the spaces, while allowing light to pass through. An aesthetic and practical solution!

The final touch: furniture placement

Last but not least, our fitters. The furniture was chosen for its black legs, which make them stand out in the space and recall the staircase, which was also painted black. Sobriety for the tables, but color for the seating: poufs, chairs, stools, armchairs, color is the order of the day in this project! A new sense of well-being for employees.

Acoustic furniture, but for what purpose?

As the lounge/waiting area is located between the meeting and lunch zones, solutions had to be found in terms of acoustics. The solution was to select individual armchairs in acoustic fabric with high backrests. These backrests muffle ambient noise and isolate those in the middle.
