The Wooh 2026 Mountain Bike After-Work Event: when a company steps out of the office

It was over 30 degrees. The heatwave had been gripping Walloon Brabant for several days. And yet, more than 100 people put on their helmets and set off on the Wooh 2026 Afterwork MTB ride on 25 June.

Not because it’s a work requirement. Not just to tick a box in an HR plan. Just for the pleasure of being together, outdoors, away from screens.

Moments like this say something about a company. Something that no marketing brochure can really convey.

A tradition that defines who we are

The Mountain Bike After-Work event is not a new initiative at Wooh. Every year, the team heads out of the Nivelles showroom to enjoy a moment that has nothing to do with office furniture or current interior design projects.

This annual event forms part of a wider programme of events: open days, evening events with partner architects, and client meetings. All these occasions help to build, over time, relationships that go beyond a simple commercial transaction.

At Wooh, we believe that a strong partnership is rarely built behind a screen. It is built in those moments when we come together, when we laugh, and when we share something tangible. Discover the interior design projects born out of these relationships of trust in our portfolio.

100 participants in the heatwave: what it tells us

The figures don’t lie. More than 100 participants at a mountain biking after-work event in the middle of a heatwave – that’s no small feat. Nobody was obliged to be there. Everyone chose to come.

Perhaps that is the true measure of a company’s health. Not certifications, not industry awards. The ability to bring people together around a shared project, even when the temperature is approaching 35 degrees.

The ride took us along the trails of Walloon Brabant, a mix of hard work and laughter, with groups forming naturally according to everyone’s pace. And the real party began on arrival, around the barbecue and with cold drinks that had never seemed so well-deserved.

The workplace as a reflection of a company’s values

What Wooh does for its own teams and partners is exactly what we offer our clients: creating inspiring environments. Spaces that reflect a culture, that encourage interaction, and that make people want to come to work.

A successful after-work mountain biking event and a successful office design both start from the same premise: understanding what really makes people feel good. Not just what’s functional. What gives people energy.

It is this conviction that guides every interior design project we undertake with our interior designers, from the initial brief right through to turnkey handover. Furniture, acoustics, lighting, partitions: every choice is designed to create a specific atmosphere, reflect a particular culture and foster a way of working together.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Wooh organise any other events apart from mountain biking?

Yes. The Wooh calendar features several annual events: open days at the Nivelles showroom, evenings for architects and partners, and client events. These occasions are an integral part of how Wooh builds long-term relationships.

Can we visit the Wooh showroom in Nivelles?

Absolutely. The showroom is open and can be visited by appointment. It’s the ideal place to get a first-hand look at the brands on offer (Vitra, Narbutas, Thonet, Fantoni, Muuto) and meet the team in a setting that showcases Wooh’s expertise in interior design.

How does Wooh support its clients with an interior design project?

From A to Z. From the initial meeting and brief right through to final handover, the Wooh team of interior designers takes charge of the entire project: design, choice of furniture, and finishing touches (partitions, acoustics, surface finishes, blinds, painting). A single point of contact for a cohesive result.

Does Wooh work exclusively with large companies?

No. Wooh works with SMEs with just a few dozen employees as well as larger organisations. What matters is the desire to create a space that truly reflects the team’s culture and needs.

Do you have a design project or would you simply like to visit the showroom?

The Wooh team is based at 12 Rue Joseph Luns, Nivelles. We’d be delighted to welcome you.
